Details: Margaret Longenecker Been is a born-again Christian, a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, poet, free lance writer, watercolor--mixed media collage--fiber artist, and lover of life in beautiful Wisconsin. For over 40 years MLB's poetry, essays, and articles have appeared in national and regional publications, including Hearst's COUNTRY LIVING, THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATOR, COUNTRYSIDE, GRIT, and many others. Margaret Longenecker Been has received awards for her writing, from WISCONSIN REGIONAL WRITERS ASSOCIATION annual Jade Ring Contest, the BO CARTER contest, CHRISTIAN WRITERS ALIVE, and the AMY FOUNDATION. She has taught poetry and creative writing workshops for adults and children since 1980, and has published 3 chapbooks.
